
Pastor Walt Sheppard grew up in a Christian home and was saved at the age of six. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Army where he served for three years. Shortly after his honorable discharge, he surrendered to preach and began Bible College. In 1995, he graduated with a degree in Pastoral Theology, was married, and immediately began serving as a youth pastor. Three years later, he was called to pastor Grace Baptist Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In the fall of 2000, God directed Pastor Sheppard to start the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Findlay, Ohio. Pastor Matthew Marshall grew up traveling the United States singing and preaching in full-time Evangelism with his family (The John Marshall Family). He was saved at the age of eleven and called to preach at youth camp at the age of twelve. In the winter of 2000, he moved to Haines City, Florida, where he attended Landmark Baptist College. Having graduated from LBC with a B.A. in Bible Theology, he was ordained to the Gospel ministry. From 2004-2010, he served as Youth Pastor at Bible Baptist Church in Mt. Prospect, Illinois. Pastor Marshall and his wife, Julie, have three sons: Timothy, Zachary, and Caden.
